Along with writing, I like to do homey things like bake and craft, so I did some of both.
My latest non-writing hobby is candle-making. I realized I had a ton of empty glass containers that once held candles and figured it would be easier and cheaper to refill them than keep buying whole new candle. Plus there’s that recycle thing. And just like that, I have a whole new bunch of stuff to shop for in my spare time. No, it’s not an obsession lol!

Baking
Recently, I tried the Neiman Marcus cookie. Have you heard about this recipe? An urban legend has been circulating since the late 90’s but the recipe is real and it is Yum! It’s got some extra steps from the classic chocolate chip cookie but definitely worth the extra effort. Give it a try! You can find it here.
But because the last thing I need is a bunch of sweets around the house – I also bake dog cookies. Gary and Xander approve of this recipe. And while it is a CBD for dogs recipe, you can leave that out at your discretion.
Who could resist those faces? Not me!
Writing
