Who’s that behind the words?
My life’s been pretty wild.
I’ve cuddled with wolves and cheetahs and called hawks out of the sky. I’ve helped bring people back from the dead and I’ve even seen a ghost or two.
I grew up in Southern California, long enough ago that you could call it the late-1900s. My early years were spent either reading, riding horses, or training dogs before landing my dream career as a professional exotic animal trainer.
Yes, it was the best job ever. Seriously.
But, a bad injury changed my life, and I moved to Seattle after the turn of the century to shift careers and became a nurse. There I met a rock’n’roll man, fell in love, and in the PNW I’ve stayed.
Somewhere along the way, I started writing. I’ve published a few books already and have many more yet to write.
Authors are always told, “write about what you love” – so I tell stories about magic and animals and the connections we share. If you have a much-loved animal companion in your life, I think you will love my books.
